Under the initial three-year contract, Stewart Materials’ custom beach sand will supply beach restoration and renourishment, reinforce previously constructed dune projects, and supply emergency sand placement for protection of roads and structures.

The Sandbox is located at the Jungle Club, a full service family-fitness center in Vero Beach, Florida. Stewart Materials Donates to South Florida National Parks Trust In Support of Everglades Education Program

The donation will support programs in four South Florida national parks including environmental education programs at Everglades National Park. Jupiter Beach Renourishment Project at Carlin Park

In early November, the Palm Beach County began hauling 200,000 cubic yards of sand for a beach renourishment project south of Jupiter Inlet. Approximately 120 truckloads of sand per day will travel from a mine in St. Lucie County via I-95 and Indiantown Road to a staging area in Carlin Park. The trucks will avoid hauling during the peak morning rush hour in order to minimize impacts on traffic.
